Furnishings are traditionally Balinese with a contemporary twist and luxurious attention to detail. Expect to feel cossetted but not suffocated by intrusive service. Now a decade old, the property feels established but not tired. Both the grounds and accommodation are immaculately kept.</span></p>

Everything has been thoughtfully considered, from the straw hats and bag provided in-room to use in the resort to a generous spray bottle of insect repellant. At turn down, a rollerball vial of essential oils aids blissful sleep in the enormous bed. Expect nocturnal animal noises (such as the grumbling of bullfrogs) from the gardens, which are comforting rather than alarming, and all add to the mystical charm of the reserve.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The reserve features four main dining concepts from the Ambar Ubud bar (perfect for sunset cocktails, where Japanese fusion food is served).
