WHY STAY?

Part of the sprawling AYANA Bali, the 73 private pool villas at AYANA Villas Bali offer guests the iconic Bali villa experience, with access to resort facilities and unique perks.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The resort looks out over Jimbaran Bay on Bali’s southwestern coastline, a mere 20-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Set in 90 hectares of grounds, it offers everything you could need, from beachside bars to boutique shopping.

THE FEEL

Villa guests have their own villa check-in: an open-air lobby with a distinctly spa-like feel, where the relaxing villa stay starts the moment you receive your room key. The accommodations at AYANA Bali all have their own personalities, and the villas offer exclusivity, privacy, and seclusion. Extras reserved for villa guests, such as the flower bath setup on arrival, all add to the unique experience.

GUEST QUARTERS

The villas are furnished in typical Balinese style with a contemporary twist. Spacious living rooms and expansive bathrooms give the luxury of space. Choose from Ocean View Villa or Ocean Front Villa options with one or two bedrooms; each has a private pool with an open-air gazebo, a living room, and a large bathroom featuring a giant tub. At the Ocean Front Villas, the extensive bathing area affords a picturesque view through enormous windows over the private garden and the sea beyond. For larger parties or extended family vacations, The AYANA Villas’ Presidential Suite with 3,000-square-meters of space accommodates up to nine people.

An honesty bar, fresh fruit, and thoughtful surprises like a turndown treat of sacred cacao add to the experience. Should the cascade of the water fountains in your private pool prove more stimulating than serene, earplugs are thoughtfully provided to ensure a perfectly undisturbed night’s sleep.

ESPA products and a Dyson hairdryer enhance bathing rituals. Cozy robes, kimonos, and slippers are provided for indoor use, while a beach bag is a thoughtful provision for carrying all your essentials on-site. An AYANA cap is gifted to every guest—a clever way of helping them avoid sunstroke and giving AYANA publicity in any social posts long after the vacation is over.

FOOD AND DRINK

In addition to the 30 bars and restaurants across the resort, villa guests have access to some that are exclusively theirs. DAVA offers an inclusive à la carte breakfast for villa guests (additional charge for other guests), with choices spanning the globe from Chinese to Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and even South American. At night, the restaurant becomes an Argentine grill open to all. Karang at Segara is well worth the ride in your chauffeured buggy, where you can enjoy generous plates of flavorful Indonesian cuisine. Rock Bar is a Bali favorite, the perfect place for sunset cocktails overlooking the sea from an impressive rocky outcrop and villa guests enjoy priority access here. After a late night, enjoying a slow start is part and parcel of a great vacation. A floating breakfast is a particular island way to start the day (with several menu choices), and the Indonesian breakfast is highly recommended.

WELLNESS FACTOR

Enter the spa area through a heavy Balinese door and into another world of relaxation. Spa treatments abound, with 53 treatment rooms available and reputedly one of the world’s largest hydrotherapy seawater pools. The thalassotherapy pool, features robust jets that pummel aching muscles from top to toe; a perfect way to start some serious rejuvenation. Follow with a Balinese massage, great for dealing with aches and knots. Ninety minutes is recommended, as 50 minutes goes by in a flash. Choose your own blend of oils and prepare to relax.

Guests can learn more about Balinese herbal traditions at Jamu & Spice, one of the small boutiques at the resort, where you can create your own face oil and bath salts with local ingredients, or concoct a delicious herbal tonic. All the ingredients come from the on-resort farm, which guests can visit too.

FAMILY MATTERS

Thanks to each villa’s substantial private pool and secluded garden, children may be happy to “stay home.” If not, the wider resort offers a host of kids’ activities, including the AYANA Ocean Adventure playground with indoor and semi-outdoor zones, a kids’ pool, the photogenic River Pool, and the RIMBA Jungle Adventure kids’ playground; while there’s plenty more to explore at the two-hectare sustainable AYANA Farm.

SUSTAINABILITY CRED

In November 2025, the resort was awarded the EarthCheck Gold Certification, recognizing AYANA’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, one of only seven properties on Bali to achieve such accreditation. AYANA Bali operates 34 electric vehicles, reducing daily carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 30 kilograms. The resort converts organic waste into livestock feed, and used cooking oil is donated to the Green School Bali for BioBus fuel and soap-making.

WHAT ELSE?

Guests at AYANA Villas have access to the River Pool all day (other guests can only use it before 9 a.m.). Other exclusive perks include butler service (including on-demand buggy service), VIP check-in at the dedicated villa lobby, priority access to the on-site golf course and unlimited rounds, and complimentary tennis. There’s also free access to the SAKA Museum, with a personal guide to show you around and explain the exhibits and features, including the fascinating Balinese festival of Nyepi and its creative local sculptures (some 12 meters tall).
