<p><a href="https://bookmyshow.sg/en/events/singapore-biennale-2025-pure-intention/SGBL2025?DestinAsian" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Singapore Biennale 2025</a> invites art aficionados and cultural explorers to see the city anew. Commissioned by the National Arts Council (NAC) and presented by the Singapore Art Museum (SAM), this eighth edition of the biennale is anchored by the theme of pure intention.</p>
<p>Set across five key locations, everyday Singaporean spaces have been turned into platforms for over 100 works of contemporary art reflecting the country’s transformation as it marks its 60th anniversary.</p>
<h2><b>Civic District &amp; Fort Canning</b></h2>
<p>History is activated with site-responsive works. At Fort Canning Park, the historical landmark becomes a stage for pieces like Ayesha Singh’s large-scale sculpture, <em>Continuous Coexistences (Singapore)</em>, which plays with architectural outlines against the modern skyline.</p>

<h2><b>Heartland and Heritage</b></h2>
<p>The Rail Corridor and Wessex Estate host explorations of landscape and memory, while Tanglin Halt features Adrian Wong’s atmospheric installation, <em>With Hate from Hong Kong</em>, turning a shophouse into an homage to cinematic history.</p>
<h2><b>Orchard Road Reimagined</b></h2>
<p>Venues like Lucky Plaza and Far East Shopping Centre reveal unexpected artistic layers. Eisa Jocson’s participatory installation, <em>The Filipino Superwoman X H.O.M.E. Karaoke Living Room</em>, transforms a shop unit into a space celebrating community and resilience.</p>
<h2><b>SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark</b></h2>
<p>The main focus of the biennale presents a rich blend of history, technology, and daily life, featuring CAMP’s thought-provoking <em>Metabolic Container</em> and Paul Chan’s kinetic sculpture, <em>Khara En Tria (Joyer in 3)</em>.</p>
