Located in the stylish Daikanyama area, <a href="http://eatme.co.jp/cedros?DestinAsian">Cedros</a> Tokyo was founded by Lui and Yui Shirako, two Tokyo born brothers who drew inspiration from their childhood in a small beach town outside San Diego.
The restaurant blends the relaxed spirit of Southern California with Tokyo panache, celebrating the diversity of Japan’s marine bounty with bold flavors and seasonal ingredients.
Using fresh fish and produce sourced daily from local markets, the kitchen team has created a sea-to-table experience that captures the essence of coastal cuisine.
Guests can choose tasting menus with curated wine pairings, or order à la carte. The signature dish at Cedros is the lobster truffle risotto, which has been on the menu since the restaurant opened over a decade ago and remains a firm favorite.
The three kinds of Japanese mushroom used in the recipe create layers of earthy depth to complement the sweetness of the lobster.
