An ode to the Big Apple and the big-name personalities who inhabit it, this black and gold jewel box off the soaring postmodern lobby at <a href="https://destinasian.com/singapore-hotels-conrad-singapore-orchard" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Conrad Singapore Orchard</a> (formerly the Regent hotel) has been shaking up the local cocktail bar scene since 2014. Elegant service staff attired in all-black dresses welcome drinkers into a glamorous den of lacquered walls and leather chairs, where regulars order off-menu classics, or delight in spirits, bitters, and signature negronis aged in-house in more than 100 oak barrels. The current Broadway Spirited menu nods to all the theatrical elements of this famous New York street, with creative inspiration such as Land of Lola, in homage to the flamboyant lead character in the musical Kinky Boots: a pinkly delicious blend of cascara (coffee cherry tea) infused Código 1530 blanco tequila, Rinomato Scuro fermented strawberry wine and Akashi-Tai Junmai Daiginjo sake, refreshed with a sparkle of London Essence white peach and jasmine soda.
