Guests can slosh their way across the five distinct zones of the Andamanda Phuket water park, whose attractions range from gently curving rides to parallel racing chutes for competing with friends. If you’re a thrill-seeker, take the six-meter vertical drop from the Angel’s Slides before sailing through long tunnels and meandering turns back to the ground. There’s also a sandy beach area, a flowing artificial river, and a wave machine to splash away to your heart’s content beneath a replica of Koh Tau, better known as James Bond Island. The whole park loosely draws its inspiration from Thai legends and myths of the lost Kingdom of the Nagon. Served at a cheery dining area called the Village, Andamanda Phuket’s local street food is a notch above: try the pad thai or the Thai basil chicken. You can swim up to the Sand Bar for cocktails and other refreshments.
