This year marks the <a href="https://sawasdee.thaiairways.com/celebrating-65-years-of-flight?DestinAsian">65th anniversary of Thai Airways</a>’ scheduled passenger flights, a journey that began in 1960 with a commitment to excellence and hospitality. Over the decades, cities like Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur have witnessed the airline’s dedication to delivering award-winning comfort and exceptional service.

Ideal for short- to medium-haul routes of up to five hours, the A321neo will boost operational efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and reinforce the airline’s reputation for premium service.
This next-generation aircraft supports the expansion of Thai Airways’ domestic and regional routes, offering passengers a more frequent and environmentally responsible way to travel. Inside, travelers will find newly designed seating in both Royal Silk Class and Economy Class—combining comfort, innovation, and a modern Thai aesthetic to ensure a memorable journey.
For high-demand regional routes, the new aircraft, with its premium business-class configuration, marks a significant step forward. The A321neo underlines Thai Airways’ ongoing strategy of fleet modernization and affirms its dedication to providing a top-tier experience across both wide-body and narrow-body aircraft. The first delivery is expected by the end of 2025.

In a nod to tradition and passenger experience, the in-flight Sawasdee magazine and its digital counterpart, e-Sawasdee has been relaunched.
