The debut of a new cruise vessel is a moment ripe with promise, fed by the excitement of holidaymakers as they embark on an awe-inspiring journey they’ll remember for a lifetime. The latest addition to Oceania Cruises’ fleet, Allura, marks a significant milestone as the brand’s eighth vessel and the second of the prestigious Allura class, joining her sister ship, Vista.
Named after the allure of the mysterious and fascinating, Allura is poised to enchant her guests with voyages that go beyond the ordinary — offering thrilling adventures, cherished connections, and secluded locales. This all-new vessel with an elegant design and forward-thinking amenities promises to redefine standards in the cruising industry.
Now being fitted out at the Fincantieri shipyard outside the Italian port of Genoa, Allura will feature 16 decks, providing accommodations for up to 1,200 guests and 800 crew members, maintaining an impressive crew-to-guest ratio of two for every three travelers. Setting a new benchmark in ultra-premium cruising, her spacious staterooms will start from 291 square meters, with each of the 612 staterooms across six decks featuring a private balcony.
On board, Allura offers a tapestry of enriching experiences. Hundreds of immersive shore excursions promise to unveil the gems of each destination. Meanwhile, in-house programs will be crafted for inspiration and indulgence, including art classes at the Artist Loft, captivating guest lectures, and exclusive wine-pairing luncheons, with sommeliers curating selections for the Sommelier’s Choice and Cellar Master’s Classic Wine Pairing events. The ship also features an expanded Culinary Center complete with a Chef’s Studio, where guests can revel in hands-on cooking demonstrations.

Adding to the allure is a grand library with floor-to-ceiling windows, elegant furnishings, and oversize armchairs, offering a serene retreat just steps from the LYNC Digital Center — the ship’s vibrant social hub — and the elegant Horizons lounge.
Oceania Cruises’ culinary reputation on the seas remains unmatched, with Allura featuring both familiar and innovative dining experiences. In addition to 11 culinary venues such as the beloved Ember restaurant, which specializes in reimagined American classics, and wellness-oriented Aquamar Kitchen, Allura will be home to the sophisticated Crêperie — an inaugural venture for the brand. Curated by French master chefs Alex Quaretti and Eric Barale, the Crêperie menu includes more than 20 recipes, from classic crêpes Suzette to decadent ice cream sundaes and classic Bruxelles waffles that feature fresh banana, salted caramel sauce, and whipped cream.
Allura will be brought into service in the summer of 2025. The ship’s inaugural season is set to feature 26 sailings, offering journeys lasting between seven and 34 days through over 92 destinations across the Mediterranean, Canada, New England, and the Caribbean. Her maiden Mediterranean voyage, which departs from Trieste on July 18, 2025, promises a six-day passage to Athens, with stops in such enthralling destinations as Rijeka, Ravenna, Dubrovnik, and Kotor.
