Named after a species of stingless bee, Bar Trigona at the Four Seasons hotel is a confluence of intimate elegance and opulent chic; beehive-inspired interiors, bronze accents, russet leather, textured teal fabrics, and a bar bejeweled with mirrored walls. It takes pride in its strong farm-to-bar practice, directly sourcing ingredients from local producers. The Colour Me Curious 2.0 menu unveils truly sublime drinks including a lineup of imaginative Trigona honey–infused cocktails (each guest is served a dollop of the mellow, tangy-sweet nectar for tasting). A crowd favorite is the bold and beautiful Trigona Penicillin, a heady mix of Michter’s bourbon whiskey, robust ginger, lemon, and cascara-infused Islay malt, laced with Trigona honey. Among the clutch of Rare and Remarkable luxe libations is the Elysian, a stellar blend of the rarefied Belvedere B10, Chablis Premier Cru, wormwood, and lemon bitters. It’s exquisite and sophisticated with a beguiling finish, but it doesn’t have to end there. To further elevate the experience, pair the Elysian with Trigona Oscietra caviar. Then there are bottled options for traveling guests such as the Campfire—marrying Royal Brackla whisky, wakame, a dash of absinthe, and smoked peach—which delivers a smoky prelude to increasingly intense flavors. On the lighter and more refreshing end of the spectrum, Blossom & Bubbles is hedonistically fruity and floral but packs a delicate punch, owing to tequila, salted sakura, lychee kombucha, and sparkling water. Watermelon is a simpler but no less sassy cocktail in which every part of the fruit (juice, rind, seeds) meets gin and sonic water.
