Named after the ship that carried Jason and the Argonauts on their quest for the Golden Fleece, <a href="https://www.fourseasons.com/hongkong/dining/lounges/argo/?DestinAsian">Argo</a>: Four Seasons Hong Kong’s chic lobby-level bar has made waves of its own since launching in mid-2021. Cocktails here are rooted in an experimental, thought-provoking approach to spirits and Asian ingredients. The current Argo Cook Book menu reimagines the flavor profiles of Cantonese kitchen staples such as black vinegar, soybean, and XO sauce in a dozen innovative creations. Dressed in toasted mushroom slices, the XO Negroni blends Campari, Aperol, and mezcal with an in-house vermouth featuring 18 different botanicals—some plucked from the hillsides of Lantau Island. It’s delicately sweet and fruity yet earthy and vegetal at the same time. The grilling, roasting, and glazing process typically reserved for char siu pork has been applied to pineapple for the smoky and savory Hellfire Club, a rum sour–adjacent concoction that layers bright tropical notes over a base of aged Bacardi and Ayuuk. Argo’s drinks program and bartending team are now led by talented mixologist Federico Balzarini, who previously headed <a href="https://destinasian.com/bangkok-nightlife-vesper">Vesper</a> in Bangkok. —James Louie
