<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Over 600 pieces of the British fashion house’s archival and runway jewelry are now displayed in velvet-lined cases across eight themed rooms that reflect a distinct era in the late designer’s oeuvre. It begins with “Origins,” an ode to Westwood’s early designer days when she pioneered her signature punk aesthetic within traditional British attire.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Wonderland” stands out for its focus on whimsical colors and gems, while “Do It Yourself” references Westwood’s ecological philosophy with upcycled designs of papier-mâché crowns and intricately woven necklaces rendered from coke cans. Another room, “Orb,” celebrates the house’s distinctive logo—the Sovereign’s Orb from the British Crown Jewels encircled by Saturn’s ring—and follows its evolution from its inception in 1986.
