<h1 style="font-size: 2em;">Digital Editor</h1>
We seek a talented and intelligent Digital Editor to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a travel writer, digital content creator, photo journalist, videographer, or SEO technically-savvy digital nomad based in Southeast Asia.
<h2>Responsibilities:</h2>
Reporting to the Managing Editor, you will help to develop and execute the content strategy for DestinAsian.com to align with our company&#8217;s goals and target audience.
Author captivating travel stories, hotel reviews, and email newsletters, while also producing dynamic multimedia for social media (e.g., Reels) and sophisticated commercial content for our partners.
Monitor and analyze web, email, and social media metrics to track performance, identify trends, and optimize our strategy.
Lead the work stream for optimisation of content for search engines (SEO) to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic.
Oversee the production of video story-telling for our website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms. 
Manage <a href="http://destinasian.com">DestinAsian.com</a>’s photography and photo editing processes.
Tell great travel stories.
<h2>Qualifications:</h2>
Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field. Must possess high level English language skills.
Proven experience as an editor, photo journalist, videographer, or similar role in an English language publication.
Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for good photography. Experience managing a successful YouTube channel or professional social media account will be highly regarded.
Proficiency in using content management systems (WordPress) and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently.
Passion for travel and a strong understanding of the luxury leisure travel industry.
Important: Strong understanding of new AI-SEO principles and best practices, including technical optimization, keyword research, and on-page SEO elements.
Experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Ability to conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
